Well I really enjoyed this 3D workshop so I made a pop up card which could be sent to friends or family as a invitation to London. I'm planing to stick this card into my research book.

A to Z Workshop with Rachel
This workshop was about our personal mapping of London.. The idea was to find an interesting way of mapping. I traced my hand made it bigger and than captured and area where I live. The reason I have chosen a hand is because I believe that our life is written in the palm. I would like to make my map more detailed as I have been living in London for a long time and have places all over London which are very memorable to me.

Cardboard 3D Workshop with Rachel
This was mad workshop heheheh we were asked to make 3D piece of work on London cut out of cardboard. I went for the the tube symbol as it was the first thing which crossed my mind. For me this symbol very iconic as for lots of people I guess. I found this workshop very relaxing. Rachel also showed us a book called Tactile which I found very interesting and full of ideas which hopefully will help me.

Rob Ryan's timelapse at Pick Me Up art fair
As I mentioned before I was really amazed by Rob Ryan's work at pick me up art fair and when I saw the girls cutting one of his LARGE piece I couldn't wait to see it on slow motion version. It has been shot on a Canon 40D using an interval timer set to one photo every one minute. So each second here represents roughly 20 mins cutting. Crazy!
Another thing as I was looking at his work I was sort of imagining how he might look like. When I googled him I was surprised because he did not look a bit like I imagined him..What's more I was standing right next to him at the art fair.
