ABSTRACT AMERICA: new painting and sculpture
On Sunday Elena and I went to Saatchi Gallery to check an abstract exhibition. A group exhibition featuring 35 American artists that represent a new generation of painters and sculptors. The artists are influenced by new digital age with pieces that combine Photoshop, Tv, the internet and other contemporary influences. The exhibition was quite interesting we could see wide variety of media (screen print, mixed media, painting, sculpture...). Also the Saatchi gallery is an amazing, spacious and relaxed place with lots of white walls where you are allowed to take pictures.
